Bulgaria: CEDAW Parallel Reporting
The Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has begun a series of strategic interventions aimed at advancing women’s rights to adequate housing and access to, control over and use of land and other resources. Below and forthcoming find interventions with the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. This work will be complemented by work with UN Special Procedures and strategic litigation initiatives as well as work before the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

Kenya: Advancing Women’s Housing and Land Rights
The Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has joined with the Federation of Women Lawyers Kenya (FIDA - Kenya) in submitting a joint Parallel Report to the Human Rights Committee. The Report in part addresses women’s equality and women’s rights to housing, land and other resources.
